When it comes to designing it is very important to stick with the concept or chose items that will compliment each other. If you have too many ideas with the house, the designs will clash. So with my Zen house I wanted to find the perfect doors and windows to integrate it with my chosen home style.
When I saw shoji, I instantly fell in love with it. This style can be turned into doors and windows. It is Asian inspired and it adds aesthetic effect for my house. Aside from its attractiveness it also has many functions and benefits. Most of the Shoji doors are sliding which conserves space unlike the swinging ones. They are also simple to manage; you can easily place and take them out. You can remove the door to provide more open space for your home functions. Since it is made up of a paper made of fiber light can pass through it making your home brighter.
